Installation guide

If you would like us to come out to your premesis and quote please call us to set up an appointment. We do however charge a call out fee to come out and quote but this fee will be deducted off your final invoice if you decide to go ahead with the job. This fee covers the time and effort we put into designing your Control4 project.

Depending on what your project requires we do a complete start to finish on every job. Whether it's a retrofit installation or if you are building a new home, we'll handle our installation every step of the way. We'll meet with the architects and give them a detailed design of the cabling and all other specifications that is needed so our part of the project  can run as smoothly as possible.

If you are building a new home when the time comes we give the light switches and keypads to the electrician and he can install them as normal switches so the lights are fully functional even without the Control4 controller.

When your home is at the final stages thats when we come in and install the heart of the Control4 system. We will install all the necessary Control4 equipment  and we'll finish off TV points, speakers points, Explora decoders and any other AV equipment that was quoted on. All the programming will be done and we will sit down with you and design light scenes for your home (Example: home scene, away scene, movie scene, entertainment scene, etc) and program all other equipment.

At the end of the installation we'll give you a few weeks to learn how the Control4 system works and you can figure out what you like about the system and what you want to change. We offer you a follow up call out after the intial installation so we can change or add things to make the system do exactly what you want. There after any call outs for changes will incur a call out fee.
